Offset Slammed for Crashing Cardi B's Performance to Beg for Forgiveness

Doing whatever it takes — despite the backlash. Cardi B came to the defense of estranged husband Offset after he was slammed for making a grand gesture asking for her forgiveness.

The Migos rapper, 27, unveiled flower arrangements that read “Take Me Back Cardi” on stage at Cardi’s Rolling Loud Festival performance in Los Angeles on Saturday, December 15, and though he was handed a microphone to express his love for her, the “Bodak Yellow” artist seemingly wasn’t there for it.

After the stint, Twitter went wild bashing Offset for his move, but Cardi, 26, wasn’t going to stand for the hate.

“Guys, I just want to say thank you so much for everybody that’s been supporting me, that been loving me,” Cardi said in an Instagram video following her performance. “And that feel like they need to defend me … I don’t want people to, like, doing f–k s–t, saying f–k s–t. Violating my baby father isn’t going to make me feel any better, because at the end of the day, that’s still family.”

She added: “Unfortunately, we going through things and, um, it’s not private, it became public … and I just want things to die down, I just need time so we can see eye-to-eye. I can’t predict the future, I don’t know. I don’t need people coming at my baby father and s–t that doesn’t make me feel any better. And I just want to say thank you, everybody. Respect my wishes.”

Fans then flooded the comments section of the Bronx native’s post, asking if the video meant she would be taking back Offset, with whom she shares 5-month-old daughter Kulture.

“I’m not saying I’m going to get back together with him,” Cardi addressed in a second video. “I just don’t like that bashing online thing.”

She went on to note that “just earlier” social media users saw Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson air out his feelings about “not wanting to be on this earth” on Instagram and how she’d never want Offset to have those feelings because of comments.

“That’s a nasty feeling,” Cardi said. “And I wouldn’t want that.”

Cardi announced her split from Offset earlier this month via Instagram video. “We got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time. … And it’s nobody’s fault. I guess we grew out of love but we are not together anymore,” she explained in the clip on December 4. “I don’t know, it might take some time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”

Prior to his gesture on Saturday, Offset posted a video begging for the forgiveness of his love.

“I only got one birthday wish, and that’s to get my wife back, Cardi,” he said. “We going through a lot of things right now, a lot of things in the media. I wanna apologize to you, Cardi. You know, I embarrassed you. I made you look crazy. Doing things I ain’t have no business. I was partaking in activity that I shouldn’t have been taking in, and I apologize.”

Following their split, Offset’s alleged mistress, Summer Bunni, claimed to TMZ that she had “not messed with Offset since he had his baby,” and issued an apology to Cardi.

Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Dubbed 20th Century’s Most Streamed Song

Universal Music Group has revealed that British Rock legends Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody” has become the 20th century’s most streamed song across all major streaming platforms.

“‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is one of the greatest songs by one of the greatest bands in history. We are so proud to represent Queen and are thrilled to see the song still inspiring new fans around the world more than four decades after its release,” said the Chairman and CEO of UMG, Lucian Grainge.

Having gained more than 1.6 billion streams earlier this week, the 1975 track has also claimed the throne of the most-streamed Classic Rock song of all time, outranking classics like Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Guns N’ Roses‘ “Sweet Child O’Mine.”

Pete Davidson Appears On ‘Saturday Night Live’ Hours After Despondent Message Prompts Suicide Fears

Pete Davidson appeared on Saturday Night Live this week, just hours after his despondent message posted online sparked fears that the actor and comedian could be considering suicide.

The actor had raised fears among fans with a cryptic message posted to his Instagram account, one that prompted local police to check on his wellbeing. But Davidson was cleared by police and appeared in a pre-taped sketch and near the end of this week’s episode, People magazine noted.

Earlier in the day on Saturday, Davidson had posted a message that read, “I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore.”

“I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last,” Davidson wrote. “All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.”

He later deleted the account.

The message prompted a number of calls to NYPD, and officers went to the NBC studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza to check in on him, the New York Times reported.

The episode was believed to have started through a spat on Twitter between rapper Kanye West and Ariana Grande, Davidson’s ex-fiance. During the back-and-forth exchange, West wrote, “People will no longer take mental health for a joke” while opening up about his own struggles with mental health.

Pete Davidson had also recently opened up about the online bullying he has faced, saying he wanted to speak out about his mental illness to “help kids like myself who don’t want to be on this earth.”

Taylor Swift Used Facial Recognition At Rose Bowl Show

Taylor Swift used facial recognition software in order to identify her numerous stalkers at her concert at the Rose Bowl in May.

A special kiosk was set up at the event, where concert attendees could view clips from the rehearsal. As people viewed the clips, the software would kick in and send data to the main office in Nashville to cross-verify with pictures of Swift’s hundreds of known stalkers.

However, the information has caused quite a controversy, with an advocate for Human Rights Watch, Sarah St. Vincent, speaking to Slate magazine about the ethical dilemma this intervention presents.

“If this company is learning that this person is attending a Taylor Swift concert and maybe stood next to certain other people or went to the bar to get a drink or engaged in other things, that’s data that’s valuable for them to sell,” she said.

Miley Cyrus Plays “Name That Song” on ‘The Tonight Show’

Miley Cyrus was looking sleek in a black sheath dress with subtly contrasting shoulder straps when she played an entertaining game of “Name That Song” against Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show last night. The game was simple – The Tonight Show‘s house band, The Roots, slowly played the intro bars of songs until either Miley or Jimmy was able guess the right song.

Unfortunately, Miley nearly forgot one of her biggest hits …

Miley also sat down with Jimmy for a couple interview segments. She spoke about everything from the heroism of her significant other Liam Hemsworth during the Malibu wildfires to how much of a stoner her mother Tish Cyrus is.

You can check out Miley playing “Name That Song” and sitting down for her Tonight Show interview below.

Ariana Grande Tries to Visit Pete Davidson After His Troubling Message

She’ll be there. Ariana Grande proved she still cares about her ex-fiancé, Pete Davidson, after the Saturday Night Live star posted a disturbing message on Instagram.

“man i’m so sorry i told a dumb joke. i really didn’t mean any harm,” the pop star, 25, tweeted on Saturday, December 15. “all i want everyone to be healthy and happy. so desperately. please. my god.”

Grande seemingly reached out directly to Davidson and attempted to see him via another tweet. “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything,” she wrote, intimating that she was outside the SNL studios in New York City. “I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but i’m here too.” Both posts have since been deleted.

She also responded to a fan who asked why she didn’t just call her ex, writing in a now-deleted message, “i don’t have his number. what else?????????? how else would we like to vilify me today? pls keep going bc i haven’t had enough guilt at all.”

Earlier on Saturday, the comedian, 25, shared a sad message on his Instagram account that left many worried about his safety. “i really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” he posted. “i’m doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don’t know how much longer i can last. all i’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so.”

Davidson’s comments came shortly after he slammed Grande for poking fun at Kanye West amid his feud with Drake. “Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health,” he wrote on Instagram. “I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this.”

The Set It Up actor, who has frequently discussed his battle with borderline personality disorder, continued: “We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.” He later deleted his account.

Grande used West’s tweetstorm over Drake to plug her new single, “Imagine,” on Twitter on Thursday, December 13. “Guys, i know there are grown men arguing online rn but miley and i dropping beautiful, new songs tonight,” she tweeted. “If y’all could please jus behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that’d be so sick thank u.”

West reacted to the jab on Saturday. “I know Ariana said this to be cool and didn’t mean no harm but I don’t like even slightest level of slight commentary from someone I know loves and respects me,” the 41-year-old rapper tweeted.

He added: “All of this foolishness weighed on my mental health so @ArianaGrande you know I got love for you but until you’re ready to really make sure everyone’s ok don’t use me or this moment to promote a song.”

Grande later told the Yeezy designer on Twitter, “i apologize if i was in any way triggering and hope u feel well today.” She subsequently deleted the message.

If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or considering suicide, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

MTV ‘The Challenge’ Stars Cara Maria And Johnny Bananas Throw Jabs In Confusing Twitter Feud

Fans couldn’t tell if they were joking or not until Paulie Calafiore chimed in.

The Challenge is currently off-air on MTV after Final Reckoning concluded several weeks ago. Season 33 will be on its way shortly, but it appears as if there is some conflict brewing in the off-season.

Long-time veterans and Challenge champions Cara Maria Sorbello and Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio have had a bond over their shared tenure on the show in the last several seasons. The veterans are now among many newcomers who seek to destroy them every chance they get, thus creating an alliance between them. The two often support one another in Twitter feuds with other cast members, but that seems to have taken a turn yesterday on social media. Recent tweets between the two veterans have started up a mini Twitter war that is confusing fans.

It all started yesterday when Bananas seemed to make a joke about Cara enjoying a spa day, most specifically on a post of her having her toes done.

“Spa lady is definitely having nightmares about those Hobit feet tonight,” Bananas tweeted.

It seemed like a playful joke to fans and followers of the reality stars, but then a questionable back and forth began and no one can tell if it’s authentic or just the two messing around.

When the whole house is against you: “y’all hear sumn?” ???????? #TheChallenge32

“Johnny the feet jokes are getting old and about as weak as your elimination record,” Cara tweeted back.

It appeared as if Cara has been getting hit with feet jokes from Bananas for some time now. Not one to back down from a Twitter argument, Bananas responded back in no time.

“Oooh that comeback is almost as dirty as your choice in men CC: @KyleCGShore,” he tweeted.

Bananas choice to tag Kyle Christie in the tweet was a jab that might have turned the playful banter into a serious argument. Cara had hooked up with Kyle two seasons ago on The Challenge: Vendettas, but things got rocky between the two on Final Reckoning when Kyle became intimate with several other girls in the house.

“You bringing up old trash is almost as dirty as your recent hook ups leaving you for TYB. At least I upgraded,” Cara then responded.

Just here to wreck sh*t and secure bags ???????? #TheChallenge32 is all new TOMORROW at 9/8c!

Bananas then came back with another swing.

“Says the girl who was traded in for a Lavender Loser cc: @KyleCGShore @MTVASHLEYBROOKE,” he wrote.

It was at this point in the back-and-forth that Cara’s current beau and Final Reckoning cast member, Paulie Calafiore, decided to chime in.

“Says the guy who let that POS run games on his so called challenge sister like that and never put him in his place even after he backstabbed you the season before as a rookie CC: Everyone who watched Vendettas and Final Reckoning,” Paulie tweeted.

After Paulie sent out the tweet, that’s when fans began to suspect this wasn’t playful at all, and some worried about the pair’s future interactions on the show together.

“Whoa who invited this guy to the party,” Bananas then replied.

The feud then seemed to die down, but without any answers for fans over the random drama.

Fans started asking for clarification in the comment section asking if it was a joke. Some even laughed that it was like their mom and dad were fighting. Unfortunately, wondering fans were left with no answers.

To see how things pan out between Bananas and Cara, watch The Challenge Season 33 when it debuts on MTV next year.

Jennifer Lopez Reveals She’s ‘Totally Open’ To Perform At Super Bowl One Day — Watch

Jennifer Lopez isn’t opposed to headlining the Super Bowl Half-Time Show! Here’s what she had to say about the possibility of taking that stage.

Jennifer Lopez has never headlined the Super Bowl Half-Time Show, which is, quite frankly, a tragedy. Luckily, the 49-year-old singer would welcome the opportunity if it ever arrived (hint hint @ whoever decides these things).

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Dec. 13, Andy Cohen asked when she’s going to do it. “I don’t understand! After I saw you in Vegas, I couldn’t get it out of my head, and this year, I’m like, ‘Yeah. It’s this year,’” Andy said. “I feel like it will happen when it’s supposed to happen. I don’t really sweat stuff like that. It would be a great thing. I’m totally open for it and we’ll see. I don’t know,” Jennifer answered.

Jennifer was on the Bravo show with bestie Leah Remini to promote their new film, Second Act. But while Andy had Jen there, he had her answer some pressing fan questions about her personal life and relationship with Alex Rodriguez.

A viewer named Erica phoned in during one segment and asked the “Waiting For Tonight” hitmaker, “If A-Rod got down on one knee right now to propose would you say yes?” JLo’s eyes doubled in size with shock before she exclaimed, “that’s not your business,” adding, “I love you Erica but that’s something I would need to think about in my mind on my own and when it happens.” Fair enough!
