Antonio Brown appreciates ‘all the concerns’ about his feet after arbitrator’s helmet ruling

After a bizarre few days in which Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown threatened to sit out the season over not being able to wear his preferred helmet, an arbitrator ruled on Monday that Brown does, in fact, need to wear the helmet mandated by the league.

Shortly after the decision was made public, Brown took to Instagram to comment on the matter.

The seven-time Pro Bowler made it clear that he disagrees with the arbitrator’s ruling, but is “working on getting back to full health” and looks forward to rejoining his teammates on the gridiron.

Brown also addressed the other – and possibly stranger – issue he’s been facing: his frostbitten feet.

Brown reportedly suffered frostbite on his feet after wearing improper footwear during a cryotherapy session. The injury has kept him sidelined from practices during training camp and the beginning of the preseason.

After addressing the helmet decision, Brown said he appreciated “all the concerns” about his lower extremities.

NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the receiver is expected back at Raiders camp on Tuesday.
