Conor McGregor called out by Darren Till for Croke Park or Anfield UFC battle

The Brit called out iconic Irishman for a fight in April saying he wants it to take place in either London, Liverpool, Las Vegas or even Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

Till even had a dig at McGregor’s whiskey brand, saying Proper Twelve is “proper s****”.

The 26-year-old, who scraped past Steven Thompson on points after missing the weight in May and was battered by Tyson Woodley in September, told IFL: ““I want the McGregor fight in April.

“If it will happen – probably not now, so probably looking at March, maybe London. Headlining there or maybe a [Las] Vegas card.”

Till said he has other fights on offer but is looking at bouncing back from defeat against the two-weight king.

He said: “I’m still ranked No. 3 and I want like a number two or the number one to get back into it.”

“McGregor, he’s the f****** biggest name in the world so why would I not push it?

“It’s a possibility. Anfield, I’m from Liverpool. You’ve seen what happened at Liverpool. There’s bigger dreams ahead now. Anfield, it’s never been done.

“Conor has done a lot of things that people thought would never happen. Look what he done in boxing. So why can’t I say it out loud?

“A lot of people will probably hate on me for it but It’s just what I believe, what I dream of.

“So f*** what everyone thinks to be honest with you. If he doesn’t come to Anfield, f****** Croke Park.”
