The former F1 star’s highly anticipated debut in Formula E resulted in a nightmare start after finishing 14th in Riyadh.
Having had the festive period to reflect on his disastrous first race, Massa says the team have made plenty of alterations ahead of the Morrocon E-Prix.
The Brazilian said: “We had many many mistakes in the first race.
“We had reliability problems, I lost most of my sessions in practice.
“I had one on the Friday, I did two laps and then stopped in the middle of the track and then in the second one I did less than half the session.
“So we had a lot of mistakes with settings, things for the regen' and also I had the drive-through (penalty) for fan boost, as I had the wrong information.
“There are so many different things which we have changed already since that race to this race to make things easier, simple and more efficient.
“It’s also a new track for me and there are many things we need to learn.”
Massa is glad to have made his Formula E debut as the highly-experienced 37-year-old continues to learn in the all-electric series.
He added: “I feel more confident every time I drive and every time you I am in the car.
“It helps you understand how you need to approach it and hopefully that gets even better for this race.”
