Man Utd and Liverpool keen on Blackburn starlet Buckley after first-team rise

TeamTalk claims the 19-year-old is being tracked by the Premier League duo after emerging as a top young talent at Ewood Park.

Buckley joined Blackburn when he was just six years old and is now close to breaking into the first team under Tony Mowbray.

United and Liverpool have a rich history of giving regular chances to youngsters.

And Buckley is regarded as the next big thing on the English stage.

He has just over 12 months remaining on his current deal, having sign his professional contract in January 2018.

But Blackburn are keen to keep him out of United and Liverpool’s clutches.

And the Championship outfit are preparing a lucrative new deal in the hope that Buckley decides to stay put.

There is also said to be interest from Everton.

But Untied and Liverpool are sure to test Blackburn’s resolve with an offer if either decide to take the plunge and move for Buckley’s signature.
