Everyone took notice when Nick De La Hoyde appeared at this year’s Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, now, he’s giving us a first taste of his forthcoming EP. Catch the EXCLUSIVE video premiere for ‘California!’

Australian recording artist Nick de la Hoyde dropped his new music video for “California” on Dec. 5 and it’s premiering EXCLUSIVELY on HollywoodLife! The video for the ‘future-pop’ track is the perfect representation of the golden state, and Nick told us all about it! “Sometimes there are moments in our lives when we feel alien to a place or people, particularly when you feel like you are constantly being judged. For me, California is that place where I can be myself, a free spirit, and this is what I love about the place,” the singer says. “The video expresses the freedom that California brings to me, from feeling like an alien to the feeling of being truly myself.”

In the video, we see the singer run amidst a sandy shore, and spend some time in a series of picturesque mountains. The visual was shot all over – you guessed it – California! Venice Beach, the Hollywood sign, Santa Monica, Hollywood Boulevard, Downtown LA, you name it – Nick perfectly captured all of the most iconic settings of California!

Where does Nick get his eclectic sound from? The singer grew up in a multi-cultural home with a Syrian mother and British father, so of course, he was exposed to a number of global influences, which he incorporates into his music! Nick melds his love of both hip-hop and R&B in his songs, while pulling influence from with electronic alt/dance beats too.

“California” is a first listen from Nick’s upcoming EP, set to drop in early 2019. Get ready!

‘Breakthrough’ Trailer: Chrissy Metz’s Love & Faith Are Tested After Son’s Accident

“He’s been underwater for more than 15 minutes,” one first responder says. “This is gonna be a recovery, not a rescue,” another frets. But then they find him.

Joyce (Chrissy Metz) gets the kind of call every parent dreads in the first trailer for Breakthrough, a faith-based drama formerly titled The Impossible. Her basketball-star adopted son John (Marcel Ruiz) has fallen through thin ice, and a doctor tells her, “We’ve done everything medically possible — there’s nothing more we can do.” The boy is lifeless. Crucial time passes. All hope seems lost, but Joyce refuses to give up. Her steadfast belief inspires those around her to continue to pray for John’s recovery, even in the face of every case history and scientific prediction.

Josh Lucas, Topher Grace, Mike Colter, Sam Trammell and Dennis Haysbert also star in the film based on the real-life Joyce Smith’s book The Impossible: The Miraculous Story of a Mother’s Faith and Her Child’s Resurrection. Roxann Dawson directs from a script by Grant Nieporte, and DeVon Franklin produces. Fox 2000 opens the film April 12 for Easter weekend.

Have a look at the trailer above and the new poster below and tell us what you think.

I'm a Celebrity's Dec Donnelly mocks Nick Knowles' weird comment about eviction

I’m a Celebrity presenter Dec Donnelly’s favourite comedy target this series seems to be Nick Knowles.

Whether it’s joking about using the DIY SOS presenter’s music album as a table-stand or mocking Nick’s now-infamous jam session with Biffy Clyro, Dec clearly finds Nick’s bumbling quite hilarious.

This continued during Tuesday’s show (December 4) when Nick, Harry Redknapp and Emily Atack turned up at the Bushtucker trial site to take in the crab, spider and crocodile-infested Wicked Warehouse.

Since the trial took place mere moments after Sair Khan had been evicted from the jungle, Dec and Holly Willoughby asked how the campers were feeling.

“Really good,” Nick assured them.

A surprised Emily gave Nick some serious side-eye, before interjecting: “Well, sad…”

“Well yeah, really good and sad as well,” an oblivious Nick doubled-down.

That answer caused the hosts to burst out laughing, with Dec turning the knife a bit on poor Sair as he quipped: “Glad to see the back of her!”

Nick smiled: “Magnificent to get rid of Sair, no, we’re all feeling really good because we had a good feed yesterday but obviously Sair has gone and it freaks you out when someone leaves camp.”

Nick’s awkward moment definitely had viewers chuckling:

As for the trial itself, Nick definitely got his comeuppance when he was covered with spiders, crabs, a cane toad, a crocodile and other jungle creatures. In the end, the team won all eight stars for camp!

But Sair had the best revenge, since she was likely enjoying a nice meal at a local restaurant while the others dined on buffalo sausages.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! continues on Wednesday (December 5) at 9pm on ITV, followed by Extra Camp directly after on ITV2.
