Emmerdale‘s Harriet Finch is very unhappy to see Dawn when they come face-to-face next week.
Show bosses have teased that there’s a mystery connection between the two characters, who haven’t crossed paths on screen so far.
Dawn has been appearing in Emmerdale on and off since April and mainly played a role in Ross Barton’s storylines before his recent exit.
More recently, Dawn (Olivia Bromley) returned to the village and was offered help by Rhona Goskirk – much to the disgust of Ross’s brother Pete.
Next week’s episodes see Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) spot Dawn as she flees from the cafe following an altercation with Rhona and Pete.
When Rhona finds out that Dawn has tried to kiss Pete, she publicly confronts her but gets shoved over when a panic-stricken Dawn goes on the attack.
Outside, Harriet intervenes when she sees Pete giving chase, but soon realises that she recognises Dawn herself.
Later at the pub, everyone talks about the incident and how poor Rhona now has a black eye thanks to Dawn.
Harriet isn’t her usual understanding self and hopes that Dawn is now long gone, but there’s no such luck.
Dawn ends up approaching Harriet outside the church and is shocked to see that she’s now a vicar.
Harriet seems uneasy as Dawn confronts her over their shared past, but how do they know each other?
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, December 13 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
