The reality star, 22, videoed herself as she opened up to fans on her version of events and revealed that the spat between herself and the Towie star had begun at The Pride of Britain Awards in October last year.
She began by explaining that she had tried to sort things out with Ferne privately, but had been left furious by her "false claims".
She explained: “I would never be with a guy who went around insulting other people’s children and I can confirm, because I saw the whole situation pan out, that is absolutely not what happened.
“So some people may not know that me and Ferne had a previous run-in at the Pride Of Britain Awards where I commented about her and Charlie.
"But, at the time I was only commenting on something that I thought to be true and didn’t think that comment would upset her because I thought that it was just the truth.”
She continued: “Then shortly after, Ferne confronted me at The Pride Of Britain Awards and it was a very tense situation. It was in front of a lot of people and I found it really embarrassing and really intimidating to the point where I actually left the awards crying because it made me that upset.
“So I left those awards obviously upset that I wasn’t able to enjoy the ceremony and see all those amazing people, but also I understand that she was obviously frustrated with my comments so I thought, ‘this is it, I have let her say her piece, I will take it on the chin and we will all move on’.
After explaining the events that had started her feud with mum-of-one Ferne, Zara then brought her story forward to reveal all about her version of events from the night of the NTAs.
She said: “I’d drawn a line under it and she clearly hadn’t and fast forward three months I am still feeling increasingly uncomfortable being around her at events and obviously I am purposely avoiding being in contact with her.
“It was towards the end of the night we were going down to the after party that one of her friends approached me, just being friendly, saying hello and introducing herself like you do with all these people at these events.
“At this point, I didn’t even know that they were friends or that this was one of her friends, but she started shouting abuse from behind me saying to her friend that she’s not allowed to talk to me, that I’m a snake and just shouting a fair amount of abuse my way.”
But, despite the barrel of abuse that Zara was receiving from Ferne she admitted that she had chosen to walk away and go to see her friends, to avoid the confrontation.
However, Zara then revealed that Adam-despite telling her not to reply to the comments- turned around to stand up for her as Ferne persisted, that time making comments in front of him.
So stepping in to defend Zara, the reality recollected: “My boyfriend just turned around and just said to her stop bullying.”
She admitted: “He did say something that I personally don’t agree with saying that he has apologised for.
“It was literally within seconds of my boyfriend turning around and just standing up for me, no comments about Ferne’s daughter were made, that Ferne threw alcohol in his eyes and then threw the container at his face and it hit his right eye.”
She finished the lengthy video by explaining that Ferne’s actions had caused Adam to be left with a sore right eye and although wounded by the incident, he had admitted he was at fault for calling Ferne a “pathetic little s**g”.
She stated: “Now I think we’re at a point where we can all admit what we’ve done. I’ve admitted what I’ve done that frustrated Ferne, Adam’s admitted what he’s done.
"But now Ferne’s in a position where she is almost trying to justify turning physical and violent on someone and making up lies to excuse that and I think that’s unbelievably wrong."
Zara's video comes just hours after Ferne released a statement on social media claiming that she had not thrown a glass.
The 28-year-old former Towie star wrote: "To be clear I have never thrown glass at anyone.
"I am not proud of reacting the way I did to the serious abuse and intimidation I was subjected to and I should not have thrown a drink.
"However I am not sure how someone who said the things he did about my daughter and me is seeking to portray himself as a victim."
Earlier this week The Sun's bizarre column revealed that Ferne is being investigated over the incident.
Police were called to the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday night after mum-of-one Ferne, 28, lost her rag and chucked the whole cup at Adam, 22.
An eyewitness said: “It all kicked off massively outside the official after-party.
“There has been bad blood between the girls because Ferne got together with Charlie Brake just weeks after splitting with Zara’s mate Ellie Brown.
“But things really escalated last night when Adam heard Ferne slagging off Zara.
"He said some things he regrets but did not expect under any circumstances to have a drink thrown in his face then have it smashed against him.”
A police spokeswoman said: “An allegation of common assault was made to police by a man, aged in his 20s, following an incident with a woman, also aged in her 20s, at the O2 Arena on Tuesday, 22 January.
“No one was injured during the incident. There has been no arrest. Enquiries continue.”
