By taking nine days annual leave from April 23 to May 3, combined with weekends, workers can secure 18 consecutive days off work.
The days to book off in April are the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 29th and 30th.
In May the days off to book are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
This will ensure leaving work on April 18 and not returning until May 7.
If the shock of going back to work after 18 days off is too much, there is another bank holiday long weekend near the end of May.
