Holly Willoughby knows how to set a trend, from selling out high street dresses to racking up millions of likes for her glow-boosting skincare routine.
Her bouncy blonde hair has long been a source of inspiration on Instagram and beyond, and her stylist has revealed you don’t need to spend a fortune to get the same voluminous results.
On the blog for Holly’s lifestyle brand, Wylde Moon, Ciler Peksah shared some of the This Morning presenter’s hero beauty products.
While some were on the pricier side, one hair spray Holly ‘loves’ is available at Superdrug and costs less than £3.
‘In my experience, most people’s haircare regime consists of shampoo, conditioner and a styling product – which is fine,’ said hair consultant Ciler.
‘But if you want to keep your hair in optimum health, as well as looking fabulous, there are a few more haircare steps you would benefit from working into your routine.
‘Products that shield against environmental damage, prevent follicle damage, and reduce excess grease will all make a noticeable difference to the health of your hair.’
Ciler then went on to recommend Vo5 Volume Boost Gel Spray which costs £2.56 at Superdrug for a 200ml bottle.
‘This product helps to lift the hair at the root whilst protecting it with from frizz,’ she added. ‘And it even has a UV filter for added hair protection.’
According to the hairstylist, it’s best used on towel-dried hair, spraying the product on from root to tip while tilting your head forward for an added volume boost.
Next, blow dry the hair using a round brush, working from the scalp down to the ends until your style is perfected.

The website states the product provides all-day hold, combining ‘the strength of a gel with the convenience of a hairspray’ and leaving ‘no sticky residue’ behind.
Reviews echo Holly’s sentiments too. One happy customer called it the ‘best hairspray ever’, while another said it ‘gives body to short, fine hair and isn’t greasy.’
‘I’ve been using this product for years – it does exactly what I want,’ commented a third. ‘Plus I get compliments about how shiny my hair is. Wouldn’t use anything else, and it’s great value for money.’
Earlier this year, the Dancing on Ice host let her eight-year-old son, Chester, cut her hair, thankfully with a little help from a professional.
She switched up her look with a dramatic chop, going from signature long locks to a chic bob that fans adored.
After Holly revealed the new ‘do, Abbey Clancy commented ‘Omg Holl!!!!’, followed by Great British Bake Off star Laura Adlington who said: ‘Love the shorter hair on you! Really suits you.’
