- Sutton Foster, 46, showed off her makeup-free skin in a sweaty post-workout selfie.
- Because the Younger star wears a lot of makeup for work, cleansing is a key part of her skincare routine.
- She also swears by products to smooth around her eyes and help calm her rosacea.
Younger star Sutton Foster isn’t afraid to go hard at the gym, and she’s sharing proof with the world.
The two-time Tony Award winner, 46, dropped a pic in her Instagram Stories of herself looking sweaty with the hashtag #DeathByBeth. Sutton also tagged her trainer, Beth Nicely, a Broadway performer and founder of The Limit, which features a lot of dance cardio and trampoline classes.
But even though Sutton is all sweaty in the photo, it’s hard to miss the fact that her skin still looks super clear and wrinkle-free. How?!
The Broadway star shared her nighttime skincare routine with Harper’s Bazaar earlier this month, and there’s all kinds of good advice in there. For starters, she’s not really into makeup. “I am not a huge makeup-wearing girl. I really love natural skin,” Sutton says. “Most days, I don’t wear makeup at all.”
When she does wear makeup, the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life actress says she makes sure she gets it off well afterward. First, Sutton takes off her false eyelashes (she says she “rips” them off, BTW). Then, the Bunheads alum uses Chantecaille Rose Eye Makeup Remover to take off eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara. “The products are just incredibly gentle and fabulous,” she says.
Then, she reaches for Avene Micellar Water to take off the rest of her makeup. She follows that up with Sisley Paris Black Rose Eye Contour Fluid. “It’s so nice,” she says, blending it under her eyes. (It was a suggestion from her makeup artist.)
Sutton points out that she has a little rosacea on her cheeks and chin, so she dabs on IS Clinical Sheald Recovery Balm. “Especially when I’m wearing a lot of makeup or having to go in and out of makeup, my skin gets irritated,” she says. “This is a wonderfully calming product.”
