Adele suddenly stopped her performance at Las Vegas’s Caesars Palace on Saturday night when she spotted a security member repeatedly “bothering” a male fan in the audience.

The 35-year-old paused singing her hit Water Under the Bridge, pointed at the crowd and said: “You, yes you with a stick in your hand. What are you doing? Why are you bothering him? Can you leave him alone, please? Leave him alone.”

Addressing the fan, Adele added: “They won’t bother you anymore my darling. You enjoy the show.”

She then apologised to the audience and said the fan had been “bothered the whole show by security and other people sitting behind him.

“He’s here to have fun, alright? All of you are here to have fun. Let’s go again.”

The Weekends With Adele residency has been wowing fans in Las Vegas since November last year. It had been due to start in January 2022 before the singer postponed the entire run because it “wasn’t ready”.

It is not the first time Adele has been forced to halt a performance and last month stopped her show to call out disruptive fans after a number of artists were hit by objects.

Between tracks she stopped to furiously ask fans: “Have you noticed how people are, like, forgetting f**king show etiquette at the moment? Throwing s**t on stage, have you seen them?

“I f**king dare you, I dare you, throw something at me. I’ll f**king kill you…Stop throwing things at the artists.”
