Adele stunned the world last week by posting a snap to Instagram in honour of her birthday, in which she looked noticeably slimmer.
The 32 year old songstress has in fact lost a whopping seven stone over the years, and her fitness journey has been somewhat of mystery to fans with the Hello singer being fairly tight-lipped about how she has done it, only revealing snippets here and there.
However, it has now been reported that she had the help of a fitness guru who also trained Lady Gaga, and she hired a chef that was recommended to her by Hollywood film star Cameron Diaz.
A friend of Adele told the Mirror exactly how she came in contact with the specialists.
The first is Harley Pasternak who is an nutrition expert and celebrity trainer based in Los Angeles.
His previous clients include Katy Perry and Rihanna, as well as of course Lady Gaga.
The source revealed: “Adele is feeling incredible at the moment and her weight loss is due to a lot of things but she is also been getting tips from Harley.
“Lady Gaga told her how brilliant Harley was. And that convinced Adele to get in touch.”
Harley often organises strength training sessions that last for 35 minutes and happen five times a week. He must be good because he also trained Halle Berry for her role in Catwoman.

As for the Someone Like You singer’s diet, she hired another Harley; chef Jason Harley.
It has been revealed that Adele was on the Sirtfood diet that means she would enjoy three green juices and just one meal a day for three days out of a week and then 1,200 calories a day for four days a week.

The source explained: “She would have a green juice in the morning then work out. The she wouldn’t usually eat until 3am or 4pm so she was also doing a lot of intermittent fasting.
“Her meals would be stuff like shrimp stir fry with buckwheat noodles, chicken with kale and her treats would be these chocolate bites which were made with cocoa powder, dates, turmeric and walnuts.”
