The nation was in shock when Denise Van Outen confirmed she and her fiance Eddie Boxshall parted their ways after the star allegedly found her other half communicating with "other women".
A source told The Sun that Denise is "furiously angry" and "utterly heartbroken" as they added that the Gogglebox star thought their relationship "was forever".
After Denise, 47, confirmed they are "no longer a couple" on Instagram over the weekend, we take a look at some of the signs the pair were having a hard time.
Back in October, the former Dancing On Ice star spoke out about dealing with trolls and her experiences with imposter syndrome during an interview with new!.
But while she opened up on her date nights with Eddie, she had failed to mention anything about her wedding plans during the chat.
Eddie didn't officially propose to Denise, but it was reported they had been speaking about marrying each other last year before postponing due to Covid-19.
“There’s never been an engagement, we just said we would like to get married,” she previously said. “We’re like a married couple anyway.”
Denise also previously shared: "I said, 'Let's not worry about getting engaged. We'll just plan a day and have close friends and family there when things reopen.'"
Denise – who has an 11-year-old daughter, Betsy, with her ex-husband, West End star Lee Mead – has been happily dating Eddie Boxshall for the last seven years.
In January last year, Denise hinted she wanted to "iron out their niggles" before walking down the aisle.

"One day I commented that I never understood why a lot of people dive into marriage without ironing out their niggles first because the problems just creep up on them years later," she said.
"That's when we came up with this fun idea for a podcast series for myself and Eddie which would involve having counselling to sort out flaws that most people brush under the carpet before we venture into matrimony."
In March, Denise shed some light on their relationship when she discussed the arguments they have had in the past, including one of their rows taking place after Eddie served up a Valentine's Day meal in a dog bowl.
The mum of one was left furious with her then-boyfriend, saying it was so bad she couldn't "take a picture" as it looked "disgusting".
"It looked like it'd been taken out of the bin. He'd laid it out nicely – but in a dog bowl," she shared on Kate Thornton's podcast White Wine Question Time. "When I sat at the table, he brought out… I've never seen such a mismatch, a mix of bowls and plates.
"I don't even know which cupboard he got it from. One of the bowls had a chip in it, another one, get this, we used to put the dog food in to feed Tilly, our French bulldog, when she was a puppy."
Denise continued: "So we had an argument. We've only ever had two big arguments. That being one of them, very recently."
The West End favourite is set to release her new "explosive and revealing" memoir in March.
While it's unclear whether the book, which was originally due to be released in November 2021, will mention their relationship, it's teased to talk about rising to fame with her career and her past heartbreak.
