Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman In Me, is not released until next week but this doesn’t mean bombshells haven’t been released yet.
After the revelations on Justin Timberlake surfaced, TIME did get hold of an excerpt, lifting the lid on Britney’s fling with Hollywood’s Colin Farrell.
The pair originally met through a “club promoter friend” before she visited him on the set of his 2003 movie S.W.A.T. with things hitting it off pretty quickly.
Attending the premiere of Colin’s movie The Recruit, he told reporters: “We’re not dating. She’s a sweet, sweet girl. There’s nothing going on — just mates.”
Writing in her book, Britney admitted she was still not over the end of her three-year relationship with Justin Timberlake at the time.

The pair had been friends before hitting it off, having met on the Florida set of The Mickey Mouse Club in 1992 when they were kids.
Britney shared: “As I had before when I’d felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case, I was vulnerable because I wasn’t over Justin yet,’ Britney wrote.
“For a brief moment, I thought there could be something there. The disappointments in my romantic life were just one part of how isolated I became. I felt so awkward all the time.”

Britney made plenty of claims about her ex Justin in the memoir, even claiming he pressured her into having an abortion when she was 19.
This comes as The Sun reported on July 24 that Justin and Colin’s attorneys had threatened Britney legal action, which delayed the memoir by four months.
A source told the outlet: “Lawyers demanded to see her book in advance and were adamant that some of the revelations were removed.
“There are still plenty of gobsmacking tales but Justin and Colin were conscious about what could be said about them. The legal process meant the publication was held up by four months as discussions went back and forth about what could be included.”
However, it was later claimed by the MailOnline sources falsely claimed the book was delayed by the actors.
The memoir, which has already topped Amazon’s Best Sellers list before its release, will not include any details on Britney’s recent split from Sam Asghari.
The Woman In Me will be released on October 24
