Britney Spears SLAMS the documentaries made about her conservatorship struggles calling them ‘bulls***’
Britney Spears does not seem to be happy with the documentaries made about her life following the release from her 13 year conservatorship in November 2021.
The pop star, 41 – who recently wrote of past hostile encounters with law enforcement officers – took to social media on Monday to vent about the movies.
Spears seems to accuse the filmmakers of wanting to ‘manipulate the system’ as they discussed her ‘hardest times 3 years ago.’
And the singer seemed to be irritated the producers pretended that she benefitted in some way from these documentaries.
‘BULLS*** !!! Is it all regulated in talking sh** ???’ she exclaimed.

Some of the movies made about her were TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: Divorce and Despair, CNN’s Toxic: Britney Spears‘ Battle for Freedom and the Netflix film Britney vs Spears.
There was also The New York Times’ documentary Framing Britney Spears, which was released in February 2021.
At the time of its release, Britney said she was embarrassed and ‘cried for two weeks’ over it.
The new social media post began with Spears sharing an older passage from Lady Gaga’s manager, Bobby Campbell.
In 2021 he was concerned about the motive behind the number of projects being produced around Spears was disturbing.
At the time, Campbell remarked, ‘There needs to be transparency about how or whether the filmmakers are profiting from this doc, of if defense, of to legal defense funds to aide those who do not have the financial resources to fight against undue conservatorships.’

He added, ‘But is Britney Spears okay with people making these documentaries?’
The Overprotected artist reacted to his message by writing: ‘Interesting. The last sentence !!! Would it matter if I wasn’t ok with it ??? JUST SAYING !!!!’
She drew comparisons to other contentious situations, saying, ‘Come on duals and most arguments are always calculated through 2 sides !!!
‘The bottom line is intention !!!
‘What angle were they coming at ??? Was it to demonstrate support … understanding … love ??? Why no !!! None of these !!! It was to offend and offend only !!!’
The termination of Britney’s 13 year conservatorship made headline news.

After her legal battle was won, the emancipated artist said efforts of the #FreeBritney movement saved her life.
In a video four days after the decision in November 2021, the Lucky singer posted a video on Instagram proclaiming, ‘The #FreeBritney movement – you guys rock.’
‘Honestly, my voice was muted and threatened for so long, and I wasn’t able to speak up or say anything… I honestly think you guys saved my life, in a way. 100 percent.’
‘I’m just grateful honestly for each day and being able to have the keys to my car, and being able to be independent and feel like a woman,’ she said.
