Cat Deeley has stepped out for the first time following the announcement that she will be co-presenting This Morning alongside Rylan Clark next Monday and Tuesday, and Craig Doyle on Wednesday.
ITV is yet to announce a permanent replacement for Holly Willoughby, who recently left the show after 14 years, and Phillip Schofield, who stood down this year after an “ill-advised but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague.
However, the future is looking bright for Cat, who previously won a BAFTA for her co-presenting role on SMTV Live, and was also a popular face on its spin-off show CD:UK.
She could scarcely stop smiling as she attended the Anine Bing Kate Tote cocktail launch event at The Stables in Camden last night.
The star opted for a chic combination of clothing, teaming a long silver gown with chunky black boots and a classic leather biker jacket.

Her long hair cascaded down her chest in subtle waves, and she accessorised with an eye-catching silver chain necklace.
Cat posed alongside the woman of the moment, blogger Anine Bing herself, and supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for a photo opportunity ahead of her big TV return.
Meanwhile, a source told The Sun of the TV star’s This Morning venture: “Cat is a seasoned pro and execs have been keen to get her in for a while. She takes live TV in her stride and is really witty and personable with guests.
“She is comfortable interviewing both pop stars and politicians, so if it goes well she could be a much more permanent solution to Holly leaving.”

The source added that they believe Cat would be a “safe captain to steady the ship”.
“Rylan was a resounding success too, so fans can expect to see a lot more of him in the future,” they concluded.
William Hill has announced that the odds of Rylan replacing Phillip or Holly are 5/4, but at the moment he is a rotating presenter along with the likes of Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes, Craig and Ben Shephard.
With Cat now entering into the equation, she now has the opportunity to make a big impression in front of the nation, with some devotees believing she could snare a permanent role herself.
Also potentially in the running for a long-term contract are existing favourite Dermot, who has been linked to the show for almost a decade, and Loose Women’s Christine Lampard.
Meanwhile, Dermot will be presenting with Alison Hammond as usual next Friday, while Alison and Craig will host together on Thursday.
Bookies have suggested that there are odds of 3/1 of Dermot taking over from Phillip, while similar odds have been announced for Rochelle’s husband Marvin, who was formerly a member of the boy band JLS.
Even Richard Madeley, who presented the show when it first began back in 1988, is reportedly being considered.
