Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper asks fans for help as he searches for job

Kaleb Cooper reaches out to farms in Perth via social media

Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has reached out to his fans on social media in the hope of finding work in Australia.

The farmer rose to fame thanks to his appearances on Jeremy Clarkson’s hit Amazon Prime series – and that exposure has come with a legion of doting fans.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Friday, the 25-year-old addressed his 2.1million followers in the hope of finding harvest work Down Under.

“Now, this might be a long shot, but I’m gonna try it anyway,” he began, before pleading: “Is there anybody in Perth looking for a harvest worker for this harvest, which I think is just about to begin.

“I might be wrong, I’m gonna do some more research on it. But if anyone’s out there, please do DM me. There’s a young person who’s very keen for a job and I’m seeing if I can get him a placement in Perth.”

Kaleb was once Jeremy’s right-hand man on Clarkson’s Farm, but has since decided to step out on his own.

It comes after he was once told off by the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? host following an encounter with former Prime Minister David Cameron.

The Clarkson’s Farm star, who calls himself the “real boss” of the show, has won the hearts of the nation after just three seasons.

And while he sees former Top Gear presenter Jeremy as a “father figure”, it hasn’t always been plain sailing.

In a new interview, the farmer has revealed a past incident when he met the former leader of the Conservative Party – but had no idea who he was.

After bumping into the former PM, Kaleb explained to The Times: “He was like, ‘Hi Kaleb,’ but I had no idea who he was.

“Jeremy told me off for being ignorant but I’m too busy cleaning up his s**t to know who these people are.”

Despite the digs at Jeremy, Kaleb has previously admitted that the controversial TV star is, in fact, becoming a better farmer.

During an appearance on Good Morning Britain last Friday, Kaleb was asked by hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway how Jeremy was progressing.

“I am being very nice and it hurts me to say this but I think there is a farmer in there,” he shared.

“I am just trying to break it out of him and he is extremely good, annoyingly this is going to hurt me to say this, he is really good at pig farming and he has literal knowledge now which I think is very dangerous.”

Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
