Curtis Pritchard says he didnt even know ex Maura and Giovanni were together

Curtis Pritchard has revealed he didn't know Maura Higgins and Giovanni Pernice were ever in a relationship.

The 25 year old, who recently joined the line-up for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins with his brother AJ, opened up on his former flame and own love life in an exclusive chat with OK! Online about his upcoming role in the pantomime Cinderella.

Reality star Curtis and Maura, 30, first met on the hit ITV dating show Love Island back in 2019 and enjoyed an eight-month relationship before calling it quits in early 2020.

Since then, Curtis has been linked to fellow dancer Amber Pierson, while Maura went on date Chris Taylor and most recently Giovanni.

While Maura's three-month relationship with Giovanni, 31, who is currently competing on Strictly with Rose Ayling-Ellis, has been hitting headlines for several weeks, Curtis said he didn't know they had been an item to begin with.

He told OK!: "I didn't even know they were in a relationship – I didn't really know they were or weren't really. I don't take too much notice on it."

The star went on to share that he is not seeing anyone currently as he said: "I am single and there's nothing out there at the moment. I'm focusing on myself at the moment."

When asked if he's looking for a relationship, he explained: "Obviously, I want kids, I want to get married to somebody…" before his brother AJ, 27, interjected and said: "Woah! You're not even in a relationship yet!"

Curtis continued: "I want kids, I want to get married and I want a relationship. If something organically happens, fantastic, that's amazing. But right now, I'm not looking too much! But if it happens, I'll be grasping it up with my hands. Somebody love me!"

Giovanni and Maura broke up in mid-October and the dancer spoke out about their split on his social media, where he explained there was "no wrong doing".

"Firstly, great relationships with great people can come to a natural end," Giovanni then explained. "This has been the case for me recently.

"There was absolutely no wrong-doing and this should be the end of any speculation."
