Donny Osmond took to social media last night to confess he’s “freaked out” by his own likeness.
The multimillion-selling recording artist shared a photo on Twitter (X) of himself and his waxwork version coming face to face and joked about how “weird” the experience had been.
“This photo popped up on my phone today and it freaked me out just in time for Halloween,” he told his 210,000 followers.
“I’m standing next to my Madame Tussauds wax figure. Talk about a weird sensation. I gotta go see him again one of these days.”
His figure, along with his sister Marie’s, is permanently on display at the Las Vegas branch of Madame Tussauds, next door to the Venetian Hotel.

They were originally unveiled back in 2016, only for his amazed sister to marvel: “It’s amazing how real they look… I’ve always wondered what it would be like to have a sister.”
Donny, who also has several brothers, jokily shot back: “I have one sister and one is enough!”
The team at Madame Tussauds had painstakingly worked to ensure there would be the strongest possible similarity between the statues and their real-life stars.
They’d collected almost 300 exact measurements of various parts of Donny’s body and face, as well as taking hand impressions and hair samples.

Every single strand of hair on the stars’ heads was inserted by hand, while Donny and Marie repaid the team’s hard work by donating pre-worn outfits from their wardrobe for their fake versions to wear.
The pair, who had an 11-year residency together in Las Vegas, were more than impressed by the result.
Meanwhile, unlike Dwayne Johnson, who claimed his own waxwork figure at Musee Grevin in Paris, had the wrong skintone, fans also agreed that Donny’s statue was an astonishing likeness of him.
@WandaHartnett 6 took to his social media post to tell him: “You still look the same!”
@Chrissie_L71 echoed: “They did an amazing job. At first I actually thought you were looking in a mirror until I read your post.”
@DaveLowe1958 told him: “These figures are amazing – so lifelike, they must take a long time to make. It must be very strange seeing one of yourself!”
Meanwhile, @kjlady7 exclaimed: “I had to look twice to see which was really you!”
Donny Osmond will tour the UK this autumn, including two London dates on December 13 and 14.
