James Corden has raised the bar for his Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show as he recreated one of the most famous scenes from Titanic alongside Celine Dion.
Former Gavin and Stacey star Corden had arrived in Las Vegas, where 51-year-old Canadian singer Dion has a concert residency.
His late night show was given a primetime special and he pulled out all the stops to make it one of the more memorable Carpool Karaoke moments.
After performing duets of hits including All Coming Back To Me Now, the pair left the car behind and took to the pool outside the Caesars Palace hotel in a small boat to reenact the "I'm flying" scene from Titanic.
Corden, wearing a wig resembling Leonardo DiCaprio's curtain hairstyle from the film, stood behind Dion at the boat's bow while she played Kate Winslet's role from the 1997 film.
As Dion's Titanic hit My Heart Will Go On played, Dion dropped a blue locket into the water, in another reference to James Cameron's romantic epic.
On a more sombre note, Dion discussed the downsides of her global fame.
She told Corden she was in hospital giving birth to her first child and had yet to hold the baby in her arms when the doctor was on television announcing the news.
Dion is one of the most successful artists of her era, selling more than 200 million records worldwide.
After being born and raised in the Canadian province of Quebec Dion rose to fame in the 1980s with a series of French-language albums, before making a transition to English-language pop music.
