Angel Adoree has called out her husband Dick Strawbridge for the “dishonest” way he plays games with their family.
The couple – who share children Arthur Donald and Dorothy Francis together – took to their podcast last week to discuss the rules they enforce when playing the card game Uno.
On last Wednesday’s episode of Dick & Angel’s Chat…Eau, the former opened up by making the claim that “Uno doesn’t have to be soft and delicate with children”.
Explaining his reasoning, The Escape to the Chateau star said: “I just love the fact that we actually actually play it in a much more… competitive way.”
Agreeing with her husband, the mum-of-two said: “Yes, I think we did. It was funny – in hindsight it was funny.

“At the time, I didn’t feel the same, love,” as Dick, 64, claimed his 45-year-old wife was “grumpy” following the outcome.
However, Angel defended herself by saying she’d previously played “lots of games of Uno”.
“But you come along, and obviously play lots of card games and you’ve taught them all the traditional games…
“But I’ve never, ever played a game of Uno, where if you think for one second or get distracted by a tapioca ball, you gave me two cards every time I hesitated.”
Explaining his own personal Uno rules, Dick said: “It’s called two for a mistake. If you don’t pay attention you don’t know it’s your go. And if you don’t know it’s your go… two for mistake.”

Angel then claimed that her husband plays the popular card game in a “slightly dishonest way”.
In a cheeky quip, Dick replied by saying: “Oh my heart, it’s hurting!”
Later, it was revealed that due to the father-of-three’s rule, he had won every Uno game in that round.
The couple also rang Dick’s eldest son, chef James Strawbridge, who claimed that the rule was known as “the Strawbridge way”.
Elsewhere in the episode, entitled ‘Bubble Tea, Uno & Stylish Head Scarves’, Angel revealed that she will often go to “any length” to prove that she is right when it comes to arguments.
However, she also claimed that she and the ex-Army Lieutenant Colonel rarely argue about “important stuff”.
On the topic, she said: “We’re not arguing about values… But it will be the silliest thing that you’ll say something and I’ll say, ‘Well that didn’t happen like that’ or, ‘I told you that yesterday and you don’t remember’.”
In reply, Dick said: “My Dick tips for arguments are coming out thick and fast here – never have an argument with somebody who can produce evidence.”
New episodes of Dick and Angel’s podcast are available to listen to every Wednesday.
