A Hollyoaks star has been rushed to hospital after she was robbed while on holiday in Ibiza.
Abi Phillips, who played Liberty Savage in the Channel 4 soap, shared a picture of her arm with a bandage and a cannula inserted.
She shared the image on her Instagram story, and alongside it she wrote: "1 stolen phone and 18 hours in A&E later," followed by an upside-down smile emoji.
The 29 year old has not shared any further updates on her condition with her followers, but she has shared some photos from her break away on her page.
Alongside those snaps, she said: "Suing Ibiza for theft and attempted murder, it was worth it though," before adding a smirking face emoji, a champagne bottle emoji and finally, a party popper emoji.
In one of the photos, Abi is pictured wearing a mesh top with a black bralette paired with a pair of denim shorts.
She opted for her hair to be straight and down, sitting just before her waistline, and she went for a glamorous makeup look to complete the look for her night out.
Abi joined the cast of Hollyoaks in December 2010, and she stayed until July 2013, when she quit the acting industry and went after a career in music.
Music has always been a passion of Abi's – when she was on the show, she wrote several songs that were featured in episodes of the programme.
Since she departed from the Cheshie based soap, Abi has stayed out of the limelight, but in May 2022 she shared the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
In an open and honest post on her Instagram, she said: "I'd previously been sent away from the doctors after having found two lumps in my neck they'd passed it off and said I was 'young' and it wouldn't be anything and I was 'probably getting over a cold' or my body was 'fighting something off'.
"As much as that's what I wanted to hear, I wanted to get everything checked for my own peace of mind."
She continued to explain that the lumps were a cause for concern and she needed surgery and radiotherapy.
Throughout her journey, she has kept her followers up to date with what has been going on with her treatment.
There has been some good news for Abi, as she announced her engagement earlier this year to her partner of 11 years.
