I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! top 10 hilarious moments as show kicks off

Since its launch nineteen years earlier, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been at the forefront of entertaining the British public every year.

Thanks to the show's series of grisly Bushtucker trials involving the most gruesome of creepy crawlies and critters, the nation has been consumed by hours of must-see television annually as the year draws to a close.

And with the likes of Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley, singer Frankie Bridge and Emmerdale actor Danny Miller confirmed for this year's line-up, set to premiere on Sunday 21 November, we're only hoping they can entertain and make us chuckle the way previous stars have.

If you have forgotten the particular moments we're talking about, OK! will help refresh your memory on some of the most hilarious moments I'm A Celebrity has produced during its nearly two-decade run…

Gillian McKeith

Gillian McKeith is the name that first comes to mind when you think of I'm A Celebrity's funniest moments.

The 62 year old television personality famously "fainted" after being nominated for her seventh Bushtucker trial in a row back in 2010.

A doctor rushed to her aid and provided her with an oxygen mask while other campmates looked on bewildered.

Looking back recently at the moment, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly admitted that it was one of the most "bizarre moments in their television career."

Katie Price and Kim Woodburn

Katie and Kim were forced to go head to head during an eating and drinking Bushtucker trial in 2009.

Viewers at home couldn't hide their amusement as Katie gagged on animal testicles while Kim made hilarious dog noises as she tried to swallow a fisheye.

Stacey Solomon

Stacey Solomon's top-secret mission in 2010 didn't go down too well as she attempted to get comedian Dom Joly's attention without the other housemates noticing.

Dom didn't manage to catch on that she was trying to tell him something, so she threw a stone to nudge him.

However, it ended up hitting him in the face and left him confused and in pain.

Dean Gaffney

EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney appeared none too pleased when he was told he was going straight into a live trial before meeting his fellow celebrities in 2006.

The soap star was convinced Ant and Dec were "pulling his leg", but the hosts explained to him that the public had been voting for an hour to choose who would be the first person to do the trial.

Amir Khan and Iain Lee

While their fellow campmates were furious, Amir Khan and Iain Lee left viewers tickled after they ate their Dingo Dollar Challenge prize of strawberries without them.

Iain soon felt remorseful, telling campmates later: "I have something really horrible to confess. We won the strawberries and cream, I thought it would be really funny to eat them all on my own, I am not joking. I am beyond shame and cannot live with this anymore."

Amir played along that eating the strawberries was Iain's idea.

Gemma Collins

The list wouldn't be complete without Gemma Collins' appearance back in 2014.

The GC shocked her campmates after revealing she thought she had malaria and left the jungle 72 hours later.

Her hilarious quotes and one-liners during the show gave birth to several viral memes.

Helen Flanagan

Helen Flanagan was another celebrity who didn't seem to understand that the more she kicked up a fuss of having to do trials, the more viewers at home voted for her to do them.

On several occasions, she panicked and refused to do the trials, while Ant and Dec hilariously tried to convince her otherwise.

Fatima Whitbread

Olympic medallist Fatima Whitbread was faced with one of our worst nightmares when she got a cockroach stuck up her nose during a trial.

She spent several minutes trying to dislodge the critter from her nose with the assistance of a medical professional.

Antony Worrall Thompson

Chef Antony Worrall Thompson took charge as he led his fellow campmates to a revolt against the show over a row over sausages.

He was supported in his endeavours by interior designer Linda Barker, as they vowed to quit the show before finally having their needs met.

Rosemary Shrager

Rosemary Shrager left eighties pop star Limahl in shock after she let one rip.

"Oh, Rosemary, that's a good one," Limahl attempted to humour her after she farted.
