ITV star Josie Gibson’s Big Brother ex unrecognisable in Love Island clip

John James leaves the Love Island Australia villa in 2018

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Josie Gibson has been on our television screens for years since appearing on Big Brother in 2010, but during the show she famously got into a relationship with fellow housemate John James Parton.

Fast forward to today and the Australian reality star looks unrecognisable in a resurfaced clip from Love Island Australia in 2018.

This Morning presenter Josie and ex-boyfriend John fell for each other on Big Brother, but things quickly went sour after they left the house as John dumped Josie and went back to Australia.

Back in 2010, John had his recognisable floppy hairstyle but fans can be forgiven for not recognising him in a resurfaced clip from Love Island, as the reality star had undergone a huge transformation.

He had died his hair a natural darker brown and boasted a solid six-pack and muscular build, which is a far cry from his Big Brother days.

At the time, viewers didn’t get time to see much of the new John James as he quit Love Island after just one week.

Josie was 25 years old when she met John, who was 24 at the time on Big Brother.

Speaking about their relationship, Josie told The Daily Star in 2011: “Looking back, the signs were there.

“There’s even a point in the show where he says he hates my cooking and complains I’m not wifey material. We were just very different. I wanted to go out, go for meals, do things, and he didn’t. He was happy to stay in.”
