Jess Glynne and Alex Scott embrace in first pics as pair ‘quietly dating for months’

Football pundit Alex Scott and pop sensation Jess Glynne have been photographed sharing a warm embrace amid reports the two are dating.

The pair looked relaxed as they were seen leaving a café in North London before sharing a hug to part ways.

It comes as The Sun reported that the ex-England and Arsenal star has been quietly seeing Jess for the last two months.

The pair, who were previously pictured attending the tennis at Wimbledon together, reportedly enjoyed a 'series of dates before and after the World Cup.'

On Tuesday, they also attended the after-party of David and Victoria Beckham's Netflix documentary premiere at The Twenty Two in West London.

A source told the publication: "Alex and Jess have been a slow burn, and they didn't want to rush things or go public too soon. But they're officially an item now and seem really happy.

"They are both strong, independent women with a shared passion and respect for their respective careers, supporting one another from the side-lines."

They added that it was still 'early days for the couple,' but their loved ones are 'super happy for them.'

Jess, 33, and Alex, 38, were first photographed together in July after attending a game at Wimbledon together and are understood to have grown close ever since.

In August, they were then seen meeting up for a 'pub lunch date' before enjoying a day out at the Women's World Cup.

Despite Alex then travelling to Australia for punditry work with the BBC, they reportedly still stayed in touch and met up again when she returned to the UK.

OK! has contacted representatives for comment.

Jess has previously spoken out about her sexuality, asking fans not to 'put a label on it.'

She spoke out about how her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, was inspired by breaking up with an ex-girlfriend.

The Hold My Hand singer told The Daily Star: "I've only ever been with one girl in my life, and that's the girl from my album.

"It was hard at the beginning of the relationship because until then I had only ever gone out with guys.

"But I am who I am. I'm never going to put a label on my sexuality, and people should never feel uncomfortable about who they love."

Former Lioness Alex also spoke about her previous romance with former teammate Kelly Smith in her memoir.

Revealing that Kelly was her first love, she opened up about the 'heartbreak of their split.'

During a speaking appearance, she said: '"I fell madly and deeply in love. And yes, there's that heartbreak and those things, but it's a huge part of my life, and I wouldn't go back and change that.'"
