Joe Swash has revealed he's convinced Stacey Solomon to buy a campervan to go on family trips around the UK.

The 38 year old, who recently said he's more in love with his girlfriend than ever, appeared on Lorraine this morning to speak to temporary host Christine Lampard about the achievement.

Christine, 41, who stunned in an orange and grey-patterned white blouse, initiated the conversation as she said: "Tell me about this campervan that you want to invest in to get the whole family together, out on the road.

"Now I haven't spoken to Stacey about this, I want to hear her point of view another day but give me your version of events."

Laughing, Joe answered: "So it's coming! It's coming in about two and a half weeks, maybe a week and a half. I convinced her to get a campervan so now we can just go around the UK and have a little camping trip."

Joe and Stacey are parents to one year old son Rex, and Joe is also dad to 13 year old son Harry from a previous relationship while Stacey is mum to Zachary, 12, and eight year old Leighton from previous relationships too.

"It took me so long. I've been honestly bugging her for years," Joe continued. "So yeah, we've done it and it's coming in a week and a half. As soon as we get it, you and Frank, you're more than welcome to jump in…"

Appearing nervous about the invitation, Christine, who recently stepped out with her husband Frank and their daughter Patricia, said: "Will there be enough room? That's the problem here, what size is it?"

"It can sleep four, so we'll be nice and comfy," he replied as they both laughed awkwardly.

Christine responded: "We'll definitely be cosy!" as Joe continued: "It's got no toilet or anything like that so I don't know where she's going to take it."

The Dancing On Ice winner went on to explain that he bought his other half a present that would make using the bathroom while on the road easier.

He said: "I did buy her a present the other day that I thought was a laugh. I bought her a Shewee and she weren't really happy with that."

Christine, addressing viewers, expanded on what a Shewee is as she said: "For those of you who don't know, they're very useful at festivals and things when you're on the go and there's no bathroom."

Joe added: "Yeah, she said she was never going to use it and didn't want to see it again," to which Christine replied: "Yeah, I can imagine."
