Katie Price has faced backlash after comparing I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! contestant David Ginola’s heart attack – which left him unresponsive for 12 minutes – to her feet injuries.
On Monday night’s episode of the ITV show, the French football legend opened up to his campmates about his near fatal experience which occurred during a charity match in 2016.
"Just playing football and at one stage you just fall on the floor,” the 54-year-old said.
“So they had to perform CPR for 12 minutes and they arrived with the defibrillator and they shocked me one time, two times, three times… they said, 'I think your friend is dead.'

"A fourth, fifth time… the fifth time, a heartbeat. Yeah… the surgeon said, 'You’ve been very lucky David, it’s a miracle. In your condition 9 out of 10 would have died'."
Met with astonished reactions from his fellow contestants, which include Richard Madeley and Arlene Phillips, David added:
"When you come back from that you just have your mind full of questions; 'Is it a message, am I going back for a second life for a purpose?' Because when you’re fighting, when you’re dead, you’re at the crossroads… there’s life and death."
In her review posted on Instagram for this second episode of I’m a Celeb, Katie likened the horrific ordeal to her fall from a wall last summer which left her feet fractured.
The 43-year-old made a poorly judged jump from a 25ft wall of a Turkey hotel and damaged her feet severely as a result, leaving her needing surgery as well as a wheelchair to move around in afterwards.
“I can't believe about David Ginola's heart. I mean, wow, he's so lucky to be alive!” Katie said in the video.
"Just imagine that happening, you just can't, and the way he says it like, it's unbelievable that he's still here and it's brilliant that he's lived to tell the tale and he's lived on.
"So, like with David, obviously it's a different kind of accident, like I'm lucky to be alive with my feet – falling off that wall."
Fans were not pleased with the former glamour model’s comparison, venting out their reactions in the comments.
“WHAT?!! David Ginola collapsed with a heart attack and was clinically dead for 12 minutes… How on earth is there any parallel to be found here? Am I missing something?" one follower wrote.
"You cud of died wen you injured your feet??? Stop comparing that to someone who has heart issues,” another unimpressed fan commented.
This comes after Katie visited the hospital again on Monday a year on after her accident, possibly still treating her injuries.
