Katie Price opens up on fifth kidnap threat and thinking she was going to die as she was held at gun point

Katie Price has revealed she received her fifth kidnap threat weeks before her appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which she quit after two days.

While being interviewed by Jason 'Foxy' Fox and Matthew Ollerton on the gruelling Channel 4 show Katie, 41, candidly opened up about her difficult year.

When asked why she decided to appear on the show, she revealed she wanted to “prepare for all the s**t out there”.

Katie then explained: “I don’t know where to start. My fifth kidnap threat I got two weeks ago and then my mum being told she was terminally ill last year and then my horse escaped in my front road and it died in my hands.

“My German Shepherd dog got run over on my driveway and then [I was] held at gunpoint.”

The Pricey then went into detail about the terrifying ordeal, where she was carjacked by armed men in South Africa with her children.

When asked when she was held at gunpoint she said: “South Africa with my kids. That’s the first time I’ve ever had a proper gun to my head thinking I was gonna die, f**king horrific.”

The SAS solider then told Katie: “Do you know what shocks me, how you told that story.”

To which Katie, who was spotted out with Dreamboys hunk Al Warrell recently, confessed: “Because it’s the only way I can deal with it. I have to be the strong one. That’s why. What can I do?

“It’s like when I got told my son was blind what am I gonna do just sit in the corner and cry? You can’t you’ve gotta get on with it, you’ve gotta deal with it. And that’s what I do all the time.”

It was then suggested to the former glamour model: “This is a bit of a break for you.”

And Katie responded: “Do you know what, I wouldn’t say it’s a break. I feel like I need to be broken down to prepare for, hopefully, to put up with this s**t I get out there.”

The other solider then strictly told Katie: “Listen, if you wanna f**king stay here and learn a bit about yourself…”

Katie then said: “I do wanna be here, I really wanna…” before being interrupted by the solider who said: “Shut up. Thing might f**king calm down a bit if you stopped being so f**king hectic. Just look at you, you can’t stop yourself from talking now. Just f**king zip it, take some deep breaths – you might actually enjoy the silence. We f**king will.”

In a VT after her SAS grilling, Katie relived the terrifying South Africa carjacking as she said: “We were in South Africa and Junior wanted a wee, we all got out the car and the next thing I know six guys pulled up in a car – guns – telling us to get in the car.

“[They] robbed us, hit us, it was like a bad dream just waiting to be shot and killed.”

Katie then admitted the horrifying ordeal caused her to visit mental health hospital The Priory.

She confessed: “Well that’s one of the reasons why I went into the Priory last year because it’s just… it’s not something that you body or your mind is used to. It’s just horrific.

“But, I’ve been through so much and I’m still here, still going strong. I’m living proof that I have thick skin.”
