Katie Price has revealed the shocking fate that befell her £45,000 wedding dress that she wore to wed ex-husband Peter Andre.
Former glamour model Katie went all out in the extravagant dress, which was designed by Isabell Kristensen and featured thousands of Swarovski crystals on the bodice and full flowing skirt, as well as a staggering 14ft train.
Katie and Peter married at Highclere Castle in Hampshire in 2005, just a year after they met and fell in love on ITV's I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, and out of her three past weddings, she's previously said that her nuptials to Peter were her favourite.
But despite the dress' eye-watering price tag, Katie, who got divorced from Peter in 2009, hasn't kept it in pride of place, as she admitted she'd left it to rot.
Speaking at a one-off live podcast event at The Lowry Theatre in Salford, Katie, who was dressed in a hot pink catsuit, sparkly thigh-high boots and a jewelled hat, told the crowd: “It’s been half eaten by rats. It was left in a bag in a container."
According to The Sun, she went on to reveal that she had rescued some of the dress and even attempted to try it on, although she said her latest boob job meant that she couldn't fit into it.
Katie went on: “So I have got it out, the top bit has sort of lost its crystals.
"I tried to put it around me but I’ve had a few boob jobs since then but the skirt is still amazing."
She then quipped: "I did want to wear it out tonight but I thought that would be a bit wrong.”
Although she and Peter, who share son Junior, 18, and daughter Princess, 16, had a messy split, she still thinks fondly of the wedding dress she wore at their nuptials, saying it was "an amazing dress but "so heavy."
In a dig at her former husband, Katie refused to refer to Peter by his name during her stage performance, instead referring to the "Aussie from Wembley".
That drew many boos from the crowd, with Katie attempting to shield her face with her microphone.
Her fans were also treated to two musical performances from Katie, as she belted out her 2017 track I Got U, as well as a rendition of her yet-to-be-released cover version of We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off.
