Pictures from 1995 show the popstar with an auburn-coloured fringe which she rocked with black hair.
At the time she had not long released her self-titled album and was working on her next critically acclaimed record titled Impossible Princess.
Fast forward the years and Kylie has increased her popularity due to her new era of music.
Over the summer, she released hit single Padam Padam and fans are now loving her latest single Tension, also the title of her brand new album.
Speaking to the publication about still making music, she said: “Sometimes [a long break] crosses my mind, but it’s fairly fleeting. There’s a song that hasn’t been written yet.
“Padam Padam didn’t exist a year ago. I guess the ultimate seduction or challenge is to create that three and a half minutes of transformative magic.
“You want to try and keep getting that high [of] affecting someone positively.”
Kylie also expressed how songwriting and recording is an outlet for her emotions.
She continued: “I’m happiest when I feel like I’ve expressed some deep emotion or thoughts that I’m struggling with and it’s like talking with a friend. Speaking your truth is helpful. When I am able to do that, I like to almost paint it instead of just spilling it out. I like to have some poetry with it to not be entirely obvious.”
The October/November issue of Rolling Stone UK is out now.
