Louise Redknapp explains how she got over ‘difficult year’
Louise Redknapp is said to be “relying” on her new boyfriend Drew Michael following her reported fallout with two of her former bandmates.
The 90s singer is reportedly turning to the hunky businessman after she sensationally quit the Eternal reunion tour.
A source told OK! Magazine: “Louise is really relying on Drew at the moment and she’s very thankful she’s got him by her side.”
Drew is a 39-year-old strategic war equipment supplier and this is thought to be Louise’s first serious relationship since she split with her husband Jamie six years ago.
The mum-of-two, who was divorced in 2017, has only just gone public with her new man amid pulling out of the event, Mighty Hoopla.

Louise and her bandmate Kelle Bryan are said to have walked away as a result.
A source who spoke to the BBC said: “A message was sent to the team putting together the Eternal reunion stating that if it was to go ahead, neither Vernie nor Easther would perform at Pride shows or LGBTQ+ festivals.
“This was because the duo felt that the gay community was being hijacked by the trans community and they do not support this.
“Louise is a huge supporter and ally of the LGBTQ+ community and both herself and Kéllé told the duo they would not work with anyone who held these views, and as such the reunion as a four would not be going ahead.”

On September 24, Louise tweeted a photo of a Progress Flag on X, formally known as Twitter, saying: “Always and Forever.”
She also addressed the fallout on Loose Women, saying: “For me I’ve always been open I feel I would always have loved to do a reunion with the girls. I’ve been very open about that over the years.
“I just feel passionate that the LGBTQ+ community were involved and included. And it’s just that simple. But I still have a lot of love for what we have done together and we are the best of friends. Fingers crossed all good.”
After initially remaining silent on the matter, Vernie later took to Instagram to say: “I am ‘Eternally’ grateful for the family, friends & amazing fans who have and continue to support our incredible journey & artistry. I’ve been blessed to connect with so many diverse & wonderful people from all walks of life during my career. You all have a piece of my heart.
“Though it is impossible & counterproductive to respond to the overwhelming number of statements & allegations made online recently; I place this moment in God’s hands. I truly appreciate all who continue to express love & support for my family & Eternal.” (sic)
Louise shares two children: Charley and Beau with her ex-husband.
Meanwhile, Jamie went on to marry model Frida Andersson in 2021.
After forming in 1992, Louise left the band Eternal in 1995 to pursue a solo career.
