Lucy Mecklenburgh fumes as Lilah has to wait 193 days for referral appointment

Lucy Mecklenburgh has been left fuming after discovering her baby daughter Lilah has to wait 193 days for a referral appointment.

The former TOWIE star, 30, who recently shared a sweet clip of her son Roman saying his bay sister's name, shared a screenshot of the NHS referral to her 1.7 million followers on her Instagram Story.

The reality star showed the NHS app which revealed that the first appointment was available in “approximately” 193 days.

She wrote: “Referral for Lilah,” before adding at the end: “NO words”.

Lucy detailed the terrifying moment she had to rush her baby to hospital earlier this week after she developed a high temperature.

She revealed on her Instagram story that her daughter wasn't "coping well" after catching a cough from her brother Roman, two, and was "choking on milk and saliva".

Lucy, who’s engaged to former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, shared a picture of Lilah, born at the end of May, asleep with a tube attached to her face.

She wrote: “Lots of messages asking where I've been for 5 days.

"Unfortunately, Lilah got really poorly with Bronchiolitis so we have had a few days in hospital She is home now and doing well I'm obviously not in any position to give medical advice but this is our experience for parents that may want to know what happened & what to look out for."

Lucy then explained that Roman first came down with a "really bad cough", which she presumed he picked up from preschool.

"Lilah caught it and 3 days in she wasn't coping with it very well, tummy sucking in, cough getting worse, high temperature, coughing & choking on milk and her saliva," she went on to explain, sharing the symptoms her little girl experienced.

Lilah was then given oxygen and "was tube fed for a couple of days," before getting a nose swab.

She ended her post by sharing her little baby girl is "home & happy now just a little sleepy & still has a bad cough."

Lucy is no stranger to being in the hospital as her son Roman, two,was rushed into intensive care and put on a ventilatorlast year after Lucy found him blue in his cot.

Since the ordeal, Lucy and her fiancé Ryan have been taking their son for regular check-ups and tests to get answers and earlier this year shared an update on Roman's health.

Lucy and Ryan's son went for a videofluoroscopy, a moving X-ray that is taken as a patient consumes fluid, which is used to assess swallowing ability.

Lucy explained in a video: "A lot of you were asking about Roman's test yesterday mainly parents that might have similar issues with their children and wondering why he went for this test and what it is, what it means.

"Basically, it was to check there wasn't any fluids when he drinks – it basically is going down the wrong way and going to his lungs."
