MAFS fans give Matt and Marilyse till January as two go public with romance

Married at First Sight UK fans aren't holding out much hope for Matt Murray and Marilyse Corrigan, who have finally confirmed that they are more than friends.

The reality TV pair went Instagram official on Wednesday with a snap of them locking lips, but in the barber shop owner's comment section, some fans admitted they don't think the couple will last.

One damning remark read: "Give till January!"

"I can't believe you 2 are together," declared another.

A third fan referenced Matt's recent comments, made when he denied hooking up with Marilyse, writing: "Thought you weren't in the right headspace for a relationship? Or was Whitney just not right for you?"

A fourth added: "Such a player. Looks happy now. Convinced us and the production team that he was in love with Whitney too."

On the latest series of MAFS UK, Matt had two romances after first tying the knot with Gemma Rose. While there was instant chemistry, this soon dissolved as Matt struggled with his new wife's constant sexual innuendos,

He then found "love" with Whitney Hughes though they too ended up splitting shortly before the reunion episode was filmed.

Still, there's a small pocket of social media that believes Matt's newest romantic enterprise might actually work out, with one comment stating: "Everything happens for a reason and you both deserve every happiness x x."

"I don’t know you.. or anything about you both other than reality TV.. however.. that post looks like 2 people are bloody comfortable & smitten.. be happy & enjoy xxx," wrote another positive thinke.

A statement from the stars' PR confirmed to OK! this week: "Since their holiday their friendship has developed and their relationship has blossomed naturally, they are both extremely happy and are grateful to all the supportive comments they've received so far."
