Shortly after losing her home to the California wildfires, pop superstar Miley Cyrus has been hit by another misfortune. According to TMZ, Cyrus’ San Fernando Valley storage unit was looted by thieves, who stole her expensive guitar collection, worth over $10,000.
The report says that although the theft likely happened in October, Cyrus reported the crime just this week, as she reportedly believed that the instruments were being borrowed by family members.
Cyrus recently revealed during an interview with Ryan Seacrest, “I think experiencing something as life-changing and devastating as a natural disaster, it’s a really deep character challenge, I think, to see the way you react to loss.”
Cyrus recently released a new single, “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” with Mark Ronson.
Cyrus escaped unhurt from her $2.5 million Southern California compound safely with her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, and their pets.
