Mrs Hinch's fans have taken to social media to share their best advice for drying your clothes quickly and effectively without switching on your tumble dryer, even when it’s cold and wet outside.
The influencer, 32, who recently completed her kitchen renovation, has a Facebook fan group where her followers can swap tips.
With energy bills sky high, users have been sharing advice on how to keep your clothes, house and things clean as a whistle without spending a fortune.
One poster on the group, which has around 628,000 members, asked if there were any tips or tricks to making the best of using a clothes airer rather than a tumble dryer and complained that it was taking too long for her washing to dry.
She wrote: “I’ve bought a clothes airer. What’s the trick to using them? Took ages to dry yesterday.”
Other users rushed to her aid with the same hack – to put her washing machine on the extra spin setting to ensure that as much water as possible is removed before the clothes are hung out to dry.
One woman wrote: “it’s amazing how much more water comes out, really noticeable on things like jeans and hoodies.”
Another user added: “After the set spin, I do them again on 1400 spin speed. Underwear and socks go on top of the cover.”
Other hacks for making clothes dry faster included using a cover over the airer, hanging things from door frames to increase how many clothes you can dry and making sure your airer is as close as possible to a working radiator.
However, some of the group admitted that it can still be tricky to get things to dry properly in winter, with one pointing out that any time you put your clothes outside in the wind is “amazing” even when it’s a little chilly.
Mrs Hinch rose to fame back in 2018, when she started her Instagram account, which now boasts almost five million followers, and has inspired countless cleaning enthusiasts to start sharing their own tips and tricks online.
On it, she shares her best cleaning tips for busy people to keep their house as clean and tidy as possible.
Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hincliffe, also regularly posts about her husband Jamie, 42, and her two sons, three year old Ronnie and one year old Lennie.
At the time, the Essex native was working as a hairdresser.
The star is now the author of several books including the bestseller Hinch Yourself Happy, a guide to all of her best cleaning hacks, and This Is Me, her autobiography.
She’s also released a number of planners that she promises will “get you organised well beyond your cleaning cupboard.”
