Olivia Rodrigo is truly a ’90s girl living in a ’22 world! The three-time Grammy award winner’s latest look is both a bit sweet and Sour. And just like Liv loves Taylor Swift songs, the Twilight movies, and Glossier, we love her cutout dress, garter, and shiny pumps take on noughties fashion.
We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again — Olivia’s got range (and we’re not just talking about her singing skills). The iconic pop girlie can wear the heck out of every piece of clothing her stylists Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo put on her. Who else’s style range can rival Olivia’s gothic bustier, distressed leather midi dress, feathered frock, and lingerie-inspired slip? Her street style, tour wardrobe, and civically-inclined cutie tees are truly unmatched. Olivia has even proven to be something of a beauty guru, as she’s slipped in beauty secrets like how to get glossy wavy locks and where to find her must-have, rose pink lipstick. Coming hot off of her daily makeup routine video, Rodrigo has given us a reason to take our summer dresses into fall, with a distinct grunge get-up.
On November 5, Olivia attended the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony, which honors musicians and artists who have made significant contributions to the genre. To celebrate the likes of Dolly Parton, Eminem, Carly Simon, and Lionel Richie being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, Olivia performed Simon’s “You’re So Vain”. For the occasion, Olivia wore a charcoal gray mini dress from Shushu Tong’s Fall 2022 collection. The top of the mini features a structured corset with a cutout back, while the bottom flows out into a pleated skirt.
Olivia chose schoolgirl-inspired accessories for her ‘fit, opting for chunky black Mary Jane heels from Shushu Tong, sheer black garter stockings, a velvet choker necklace with a pendant, and silver earrings. For glam, Rodrigo went with long lashes and subtly glittery, winged eyeliner which created a rocker-chic vibe. Liv also wore a coral version of the sunburnt blush trend, pairing her flush with pink lips, wavy hair, and black nails.
