Peter Andre gushed to Jess Wright about her brother Mark recently, telling her he thinks he looks like a younger version of himself.

Peter starred on Jess' podcast series Girls #nofilter and revealed he's got a bit of man crush on Mark, and is even desperate to get him to his home gym for a workout session.

Pete, 47, told Jess that he believes Mark, 33, has a mindset very similar to his younger self when it comes to training – and looking at their physiques, we can see what he means!

"Jess, tell your bro we need to do a gym session – he can come to my gym, he’d love it," Pete said to her.

"He reminds me of a younger, better looking version of me. I was very obsessed when I was his age with training and things like that. But actually what it does is sets you up for a good stead later on in life. "

Pete was having a good old catch up with Jess, 35, on her podcast, with the former TOWIE star even confessing that she once had an 'obsession' with him.

"The little girl in me is screaming right now," she told him. "I was a huge fan growing up, I had a life-sized poster on my wall amongst 30 others. I watched you at Wembley, you supported Boyzone, and then did you have your own concert there as well? I went to both, I was obsessed."

Talking about those early popstar days brought back some memories for Pete too, as he continued chatting to Jess and her podcast co-hosts BFFs Gabby and Kelly.

In particular, he recalled how those early days were his wildest, as he said: "I used to party hard back in the day – when people say to me, ‘have you ever done anything dodgy?’ The 90s for me were a blur.

"We used to go and do concerts and we’d finish the gig and then say, ‘we want the hottest club you’ve got’, we’d turn up at the club and we would party all night and then we would get on the tour bus and go to the next destination. The only time we would sleep was on the bus.

"But I completely stopped, one day I decided I didn't want to do this anymore. That happens in your life, for some reason I stopped everything."

Instead for Pete now, life is all about his wife Emily, 31, and his kids Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Amelia, six, and Theodore, three.

And Pete is now also working on a big movie role with his son Junior, On The Other Foot. A film about a racist who gets swapped into the body of a black man.

Starring alongside Pete and Junior are comedian Dapper Laughs and rapper Lady Leshurr, as well as The Singing Dentist aka Dr Milad Shadrooh.

Talking about his project, Pete opened up to new! magazine readers in his column, "As well as concentrating on music I've been filming for a brand new film. I'm also happy to say that my son Junior will have his first ever acting role in this film too and he's really excited."

It has always been Pete's ambition to make it in the acting world following his long music career but he had his dreams dashed when the pandemic meant he couldn't fly to Hollywood for filming.

"I was supposed to be out there, in Los Angeles this year," he said. "They were parts in feature films that I was sent scripts of.

"I was incredible excited to get to work in feature films…I'll definitely go out there when we can – and I might just take Junior with me. That's what Junior wants to do."
