Prince Harry is wished a ‘Happy Birthday’ at Invictus Games
Joanne Clifton has revealed she wants to see Prince Harry take on the BBC dancing competition in the future as “he’s technically out of the Royal Family now”.
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional revealed her thoughts on the show after leaving in 2016, saying Prince Harry “needs to give the show a go”, especially with Queen Camilla supposedly being a Strictly fan.
Speaking about her dream celebrity to appear on the show, Joanne shared: “I have two. One of them would be Karl Pilkington. I think he would be hilarious.
“I don’t think he’d be the best, but I would love to see him step up to the plate. My other dream contestant would be Prince Harry.
“He is technically out of the Royal family now, so why not? He’s not a Royal anymore. Let’s get him in some sparkly lycra.

“Queen Camilla supposedly loves Strictly, so I think he needs to give it a go,” she added to Betway.
Joanne, won the trophy with Ore Oduba against Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse and Louise Redknapp and her brother Kevin Clifton, six years ago before then quitting the show.
But her success came at a cost as Joanne had been battling a health condition behind the scenes.
Just one year before her series win, she was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both knees and was warned off high-impact exercise.

At the time, she told MailOnline: “I was a bit silly – I put a great idea ahead of my own condition.
“I’d been told when I was diagnosed in 2015 to avoid high-impact movements. We’d been practising jumping all week.
“By the Friday and Saturday, I was really struggling. I look back on that dance now and think,- ‘Ooh, for the sake of my knees, why did I choreograph all that jumping?”
Following her struggles, she left the BBC show to focus on her musical career and is now a regular star of various big hit shows including Shrek The Musical, The Addams Family and The Rocky Horror Show.

Recently Joanna took part in BBC’s Pointless Celebrities quiz show where she spoke to presenter Alexander Armstrong about her odd dressing room demand.
Joanne said: “I love jigsaw puzzles. I’m in musicals now as well and when I’m on tour, I wouldn’t consider myself a diva, but you know when people can ask for things in their dressing room, I always ask for a dressing room table that’s big enough for a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle.”
Alexander Armstrong then interjected: “With a felt top?”
Strictly continues on BBC next Saturday at 6.15pm.
