Several rappers have reacted to the death of Young Dolph, after the 36-year-old rapper was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in his native Memphis.
The rapper, whose full name is Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., was killed after someone drove up to Makeda’s Butter Cookies in Memphis, Tennessee, and shot him.
Chance the Rapper, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane and many others paid tribute to their fellow rapper.
“God bless Dolph. Real independent Memphis rapper born in chicago. loved by millions of ppl. Always showed love everytime I seen him this is tragic God bless his family man,” Chance the Rapper tweeted.
Gucci Mane tweeted, “R.I.P. to my friend Dolph this broke my heart.”
Megan Thee Stallion wrote, “I am sooo sick rn I am in disbelief! Praying for his family and friends ! Rest In Peace to my friend a true legend dolph.”
Drake shared a black-and-white picture of Dolph on his Instagram Story as a tribute to the rapper.
