The nine-time Grammy winner might have a strong sense of urgency considering her 35-year-old babydaddy is due back in court on January 8 for an arraignment for his upcoming assault trial – according to TMZ.
A$AP (born Rakim Athelaston Mayers) pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm stemming from a 2021 shooting of his longtime friend A$AP Relli (born Terell Ephron).
Prosecutors obtained video of the two-time Grammy nominee allegedly holding a gun, but there’s no video of Ephron being shot through the hand.
A$AP hired attorney Joseph Tacopina, who also represents former POTUS Donald Trump in his criminal trial involving payments made to Stormy Daniels as well as his civil trial defaming E. Jean Carroll.
The Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n) rapper’s late Bajan father reportedly went to prison when he was only 12, and he spent his teen years moving around homeless shelters with his mother and sister.
A$AP and Rihanna confirmed their romance in 2020 – nine years after she first enlisted him to rap on her song Cockiness (Love It).
‘I think we do a real great job at collaborating making children,’ the native New Yorker told Complex on November 17.
‘I think that’s our best creation so far! Nothing is better than [RZA and Riot] out there. I mean, we had a third designer come and help, a ghost designer named God, [who] shaped everything. And we had these beautiful angels.’
