First look at Netflix’s new four-part Robbie Williams documentary
Robbie Williams has revealed using “something like” the diabetes drug ozempic is behind his noticably slimmer physique.
Over the years, the singer has been open about his struggles with body dysmorphia which has led to him suffering with his mental health.
Earlier this year, Robbie wowed fans by showcasing his whole new physique in a post shared by long-term wife Ayda Field.
For the snap, the Angels singer stood topless in the garden and his slimmer frame certainly didn’t go unnoticed by fans.
In a new interview with The Times, the ex Take That star said he had managed to shed over 25 pounds with the help of a drug “like” celebrity favourite Ozempic.

He spilled: “Babe, I’m on Ozempic. Well, something like Ozempic. It’s like a Christmas miracle.”
The Rock DJ hitmaker also said he takes the drug to help him medically, adding: “I’ve been diagnosed with type 2 self-loathing.
“It’s shockingly catastrophic to my mental health to be bigger. My inner voice talks to me like Katie Hopkins talks about fat people. It’s maddening.”
The drug is a type 2 diabetes medication which is prescribed to manage blood glucose levels, however many celebrities have credited it for rapid weight loss.
Earlier this year, Robbie said he had also changed up his diet and was eating less.

He told The Sun: “It is a constant slog and it is not a natural way of being. For me, what is normal is being twice this size.”
In April, Robbie lost four stone after ditching his cigarette habit and hitting the gym.
Three months later, he candidly shared a post about his body dysphormia, which sparked concerns amongst fans.
A picture he shared featured two characters, one saying: “It’s gone too far,” and the other saying: “Aw, bless you.”
The image also said: “My ideal goal weight is people being worried about me.”
Robbie went on to explain: “I could write a book about self-loathing where my body image is concerned. Like pure self-hatred, The ugliness of feeling ugly. I’m body dysmorphic and on top of being dysmorphic at times, I can be 40+ pounds overweight.
“So you can imagine what my mind sees. Or maybe you can’t either way it’s a f*****g disaster.”
He added that at that moment he was “skinny” but said with his image struggles, his mind told him he had finally managed to get skinny “now you’re old”.
After sparking more worries, he later followed up his post telling fans he was “really well and really happy”.
In 2018, he became an ambassador of Weight Watchers and with this he became more aware of his diet thanks to their food plans.
He spilled: “I’ve either been overweight and unhappy or been extreme and underweight and unhappy. Both of those places have led to depression.
“This is the best I’ve been solidly for a long time. Consistency is the best I’ve ever been.”
