Rylan Clark lifts lid on sordid reality of CBB and reveals star defecated on the floor

Rylan Clark has revealed the crazy antics his Celebrity Big Brother housemates got up to, nine years after appearing on the reality show.

The 33 year old spoke about his wild experience during his time on the Channel 4 series in 2013 in his memoir Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future.

In the book, Rylan recalled the incidents viewers never saw that happened outside of the house, which included a housemate “defecating” on a hotel room floor.

Discussing the shocking moment, Rylan said: “One ex-housemate left a pile of human faeces on the floor of his room — a great big dump!”

The presenter didn’t unveil the identity of the suspect, though he said he confronted them at the time and was met with quite the “brilliant” excuse.

Rylan was first told by the housemate they’d “dropped a kebab on the floor”, then was told their dog had left a “whoopsie” behind and bolted.

“I couldn't contain my laughter but we knew the game was up and had to pay the [hotel] cleaning bill,” the TV host continued.

“As much as we love this ex-housemate there's always seems to be some type of drama surrounding them…it was one of my favourite excuses of all time.”

Rylan also remembered a CBB housemate being kicked out for getting steamy in a car.

He said: “The driver had to pull over on the side of the M25 and ask the ex-housemate and their partner to leave the vehicle after engaging in a sex act in the back of the car.

“To get the phone call was exciting and funny, not to mention the guests stranded on the hard shoulder in the middle of the night.”

Rylan won CBB in 2013 and hosted Big Brother’s Bit on the Side from that year up until 2018.

It was announced this summer that Big Brother is returning next year on ITV, after its axe from Channel 5.

Rylan shared his excitement following the news, as he told the Dish podcast: “I've wanted that show to come back since the day it finished. I've not let go of it yet…but it's a new era of Big Brother.

“I don't know what's gonna happen. I know Emma's [Willis] said that she's not coming back. I don't know if it will be any of us that used to be there.

“I've made no secret, and I'm still not going to make a secret, of course I'd love to go back. It was such a big part of my life.”
