Former hockey player Sam Quek is pregnant with her second child, seven months after giving birth to her first child. The 32-year-old and her husband Tom Mairs welcomed daughter Molly into the world in March this year.
The Question of Sport panellist is 17 weeks pregnant.
She told OK! Magazine that the new baby is due just two weeks after her daughter turns one on March 2.
Speaking of the news, the sports star told the publication that the couple were hoping to have a small age gap between their children, but didn’t expect to fall pregnant again quite so quickly.
“It was a surprise but we didn’t stop it happening, if that makes sense.
“We did discuss after Molly that we’d like kids close together and what close together meant.
“My close together was 18 months and I wanted to start trying after Christmas. But Tom’s close together was to start trying after my six-week check!”
