Broadcaster Sarah Beeny has posted a loved-up picture with her husband Graham Swift – just days after she revealed that their marriage was “hanging on by fingernails”.
The pair, who met as teenagers, have had their many ups and downs throughout their union and Sarah, 51, has never shied away from being open about their struggles.
Earlier this week, the TV star admitted their relationship is strained after her breast cancer battle made her “particularly horrible” during the course of her treatment.
Despite revealing that their marriage has seen better days, the duo appeared stronger than ever on Friday afternoon, with Sarah uploading a picture of them affectionately hugging.
Captioning the post, she wrote: “Turns out little day surgery to whip out my ovaries and tubes as the last tick box after testing positive for #palb2 gene mutation isn’t quite the walk in the park I expected and flipping smarts.

“Not feeling quite as jolly as when G dropped me this morning. PS thanks yet again to the totally brilliant @yeovil_hospital_nhs and your AMAZING wonderful staff.”
Sarah’s health update comes after she sensationally revealed to Gabby Logan on The Mid-Point Podcast this week that her 21-year marriage with husband Graham was on the rocks.
The couple have four sons together, including 18-year-old Billy, 16-year-old Charlie, 14-year-old Raffey, and 12-year-old Laurie.

But Sarah admitted they’ve stayed together for the sake and happiness of their four kids.
She explained: “I was being particularly horrible, he said, ‘You know the thing is Sarah, you’re not prepared to leave and have your children half the time, and neither am I, so we’re going to stay together. And we’re going to stay together happily or unhappily, so which would you like it to be?’
“And I was like, ‘Oh that is quite dark, isn’t it?’ He said, ‘You wanna be happy or unhappy? Because either way we’re still going to live together’, so I was like, ‘Okay, we’ll do happy then, shall we?’ he was like, ‘What a good idea. Maybe you should be a bit nicer?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, alright I will’. So logical, isn’t it?”
The TV also recently revealed how she has dedicated only one chapter in her new book, titled The Simple Life: How I Found Home, about her cancer journey – because she did not want it to be the “defining thing” of her life.
Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2022, with the Property Ladder host documenting her recovery in the Channel 4 series Sarah Beeny vs Cancer.
She also explored how breast cancer treatments in the UK have evolved since her mother Ann died of the same disease at the age of 39 – when she was 10 years old.
