During the coronavirus outbreak sweeping the county, people in the over-seventies age bracket are being urged to self-isolate in a bid to protect themselves from the harmful bug.
This means that many people cannot come into close contact with their grandparents, including Scarlett Moffatt, who told her fans that she is devastated to not be able to visit her grandmother.
The Gogglebox star posted a picture of herself, her mother and her grandmother on the set of a photoshoot, as she revealed how hard she was finding the separation.

The 30 year old wrote in the caption: “Currently not visiting my nanny as I would hate her to get poorly as she’s classed as vulnerable, it’s just heartbreaking.
“But looking at this photo makes me smile (you may have seen it in the @peacocks_fashion windows) & remembering what a fun day we had shooting this special Mother’s Day range of clothes, what a giggle we had.
“This Mother’s Day more than ever let’s celebrate our mams, nanny’s, grans and aunts.
“I know time’s are a bit tough right now so I’ve got 20% off womens new in clothing right now!

On her Instagram stories, Scarlett took a picture of herself in the front seat of her car as she revealed that she was picking up supplies to drop off at her grandparent’s house.

The I'm A Celeb star wrote: "Off to get some supplies for my nanny and pappy and to leave it on their doorstep.
"Least I get to see them through the window", followed by a crying face emoji.
Some of Scarlett’s followers commented underneath her post to reveal that they too were not able to visit their grandparents as they heeded advice from experts and the government.
