Taylor Swift's 'Cruel Summer' Earns Second Week Atop Billboard Hot 100

Taylor Swift‘s “Cruel Summer” has retained its No. 1 rank on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The song, from Swift’s 2019 studio album Lover, topped the chart dated November 4.

“Cruel Summer” marks Swift’s tenth leader on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

She had been performing “Cruel Summer” in the opening sets of her current The Eras Tour, which helped boost the song’s popularity in recent weeks.

Also, new versions of the song were released in October following the premiere of the concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

“Cruel Summer” drew 80.1 million radio airplay audience impressions and 21.3 million streams and sold 7,000 downloads during the October 20-26 tracking week, according to Luminate.

The song concurrently tops the Streaming Songs and Radio Songs charts and dropped to No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

Behind “Cruel Summer,” Doja Cat‘s “Paint the Town Red” and SZA‘s “Snooze” held onto the No. 2 and No. 3 positions on the chart, respectively.

The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.
