Former The Only Way Is Essex stars Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou have opened up about planning their wedding, Tommy shares that Georgia has been taking the lead in that department.
Earlier this year the couple put their wedding on hold after they suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage when Georgia was 12 weeks pregnant.
But the pair have since started back up with their wedding planning, opening up about this to OK! at the National Television Awards.
Tommy told us: "[Georgia] does like planning it, and anything I say she goes against it" to which George interjected that he had suggested having "no flowers" on the big day.
Responding to this Tommy quickly added that rather than suggesting not having any, he actually wanted less for cost-related reasons.
He explained: "No I didn't, but when you look at the flowers and their cost, it's f***ing ridiculous, and you're going to throw them away the next day. It's mad."
And as Georgia argued that they can't get married without flowers, Tommy quipped: "We'll have flowers but we don't need that many flowers, we'll use candles or something instead."
And discussing the future of their ITVBe show, Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps, the pair shared that they'd love to continue the show as long as they can.
Last November the pair opened up to OK! about their plans for their nuptials, revealing that they were considering holding their wedding in Spain, where they recently purchased a property.
Tommy told us: "At the minute, we’re just trying to be present. Now we have the place in Spain, Georgia wants to start looking at venues there. But I said, “Let’s just get through the year.
"Georgia will be at the forefront of it. She changes her mind every day, depending on what she’s seen on Instagram."
While Georgia added: "I don’t see myself getting married here [in the UK]. I think Majorca will be the place.
"We’ve got a house there and it’s stunning. I need to look at venues over here as well. I can’t 100% rule out a UK wedding. I could see one and be like, 'Wow!' but I need that feeling. I’m going by my gut."
Tommy popped the question last year, during a family holiday in Mexico, in a lavish location overlooking the coastline, surrounded by stunning roses.
Sharing a snap from the scene of the engagement, she told her Instagram followers: "'OF COURSE I SAID YES."
