Travis Scott dropped his new single “Franchise,” featuring Young Thug and M.I.A., on Friday (September 25), about a week after offering the track on pre-order for just 69 cents.
Scott premiered the music video of the song on Thursday at IMAX screenings showing Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet.
“Travis– Love the video (shot on film, no less!). I can’t wait to hear it on the IMAX speakers, and see those sheep stampede across the giant screen as part of a Travis/Tenet/Travis sandwich!” Nolan wrote on Twitter.
Scott, who directed the visual alongside White Trash Tyler, filmed part of it at Michael Jordan‘s Chicago area mansion. George Condo created the single’s cover art.
The clip shows luxury cars pulling up to the gates sporting Jordan’s number “23.” Scott is seen hanging out with women inside a mansion, chilling on the basketball court and partying on the grounds. Scott and Young Thug are seen playing a round of golf and a poker game, while M.I.A. is seen dancing in a field with mirrors and sheep.
“Yup, in my white tee, yeah,” Scott raps on the hook with Young Thug. “Call up Hype Williams for the hype, please. It’s lit/Uh, they gonna wipe you before you wipe me/Unboxing my checks, not my Nikes, yeah.”
In April, Scott released “The Scotts,” featuring Kid Cudi. His song, “The Plan,” appeared in the film Tenet as well as on its soundtrack.
