Holly Willoughby quits ITV’s This Morning after 14 years
Ulrika Jonsson has indicated that she may be pleased to see Holly Willoughby leave This Morning following her exit announcement.
The 56-year-old left a cryptic comment on Instagram that has led to speculation that she isn’t sorry to see the long-standing presenter leave the ITV daytime show.
The Instagram account The Archbishop of Banterbury jokingly shared a video of a blonde Wilko staff member walking around an empty shop.
They captioned it: “Holly Willoughby walking around the This Morning studio,” and wrote “End of an era” alongside it.
Ulrika chose to comment on the video and cheekily expressed: “Or end of an error…”

Instagram users were quick to rush to the comment section and express their feelings about Ulrika’s remark.
One user said: “@ulrikajonssonofficial Oooh! Ulrika-ka-ka-ka that was a feisty comment haha.”
Another applauded the former Gladiators presenter and commented: “Love that you’ve turned up and dropped an absolutely perfect comment.”
This isn’t the first time Ulrika has publicly shared her views on Holly, 42, as she previously communicated her thoughts on the reported fallout between Holly and Phillip Schofield, 61.

Addressing the situation in her Sun column, she wrote: “Daytime TV is a lively, narcissistic melting pot of ego, vanity, hierarchy and domination, not to mention the bevy of managers and agents standing backstage ready to compete for their clients’ best outcomes.
“For the show’s dedicated followers, however, I suspect this war of the egos is a great sadness.”
Interestingly, Ulrika went on to use the same quote following Holly’s exit as she commented: “Many will be sad if this is the end of an era – others might say it’s just the end of an error.”
Holly announced her decision to step down from her This Morning role on Tuesday in a heartfelt post.
The mum-of-three took the opportunity to thank her fans in an Instagram post to her 8.4 million followers.
